Registration to the conference will open on 13 September and the Early Bird period ends on 7 October. We urge people to register before the end of the Early Bird period - prices will rise afterwards. Please note that you do not have to pay upon registration, you have 30 days to settle your fees (the payment period will shorten as we get closer to the conference).
Conference fees are considerably lower for members of the AAS. This is to encourage people to join and support the association organising the AAS conferences. You can read about the society and its activities beside the conference on the AAS website. For mor information about membership, please visit the membership page.
Please note that from this year the AAS and the Association of Social Anthropologists of Aotearoa/New Zealand (ASAA/NZ) have agreed to offer member rates at their conferences to the members of both organisations.
If you cancel your registration by notifying us by email before the 1st of November, we will be able to refund your registration fee, less a small amount to cover our administrative and finance costs. Cancellations made after the 1st of November will not be eligible for such a refund, due to the costs already incurred. Refunds at that point will be discretionary.
